Gender Violence continues in the central axis of the actions of the Ministry of Health of the Basque Government. Iñaki
I asked that I convey a word of his speech in the meeting:
"Role of Health Personnel at the Gender Violence: Challenges and Opportunities", organized by Osakidetza on March 2 of this 2011, and in which he participated with "strategic line of action from the health system."
That said,
part of the action against Gender Violence is one of the strategies aimed at improving information systems in the healthcare system in the Basque Autonomous Community.
In this strategy, one of the most important is the unification of coding criteria for different types of domestic violence physical, psychological and sexual.
also has built a form that collects information related to violence, to allow for analysis and subsequent evaluation of the same for the development of new strategies.

commented, are adjusting the shared history with the Specialty Care, Global Osabide ie, to unify the information from both levels.
Another strategy is to enhance lines of research on gender violence to understand the different dimensions and manifestations of this phenomenon and its evolution.
To finish is to standardize as much attention as the early detection of gender violence, as if it were a prevalent health problem, like other chronic diseases.
