In the spring of 2011, this new space has come to Bilbao.
La Plaza de Euskadi, is a faithful reflection of these changing times. Its location marks the meeting point between the Eixample classic and new structures.
In size and shape, is similar to the Plaza de Moyua, though the Euskadi is rather a passage between two urban areas.
Arriving in time of crisis, a budget does cut. Had to be cut, let the initial project, eliminating the source, some roads and much of the interior garden, you may be able to get back all in better times.
The Museum of Fine Arts, the Torre Iberdrola, the Deusto bridge, the Alameda de Mazarredo, are linked through the landscaped environment that leads from the river, with its gateway "Pedro Arrupe", to the Parque de Doña Casilda .
Viewed from above, we'll check when we can access the tower, gardens and walks up the iconic picture of the oak leaf.
This place meets in its immediate environment, far from the artistic, educational and cultural center of Bilbao.
