The team by Julia Alvarez, Jordi Bordas, Josep María Rodríguez, accompanied by Yann Duytsche as president, have made Spain has been proclaimed for the first time winner of the XII World Pastry Cup held in Lyon on 23 and 24 January 2011. This presentation will be held at the School of Pastry Guild of Barcelona, \u200b\u200ba place where was conducted throughout the training program prior to the competition.
The World Pastry Cup is held every two years in Lyon since 1989, and the teams prepare their pieces in front of the audience while the judges take note of everything that happens in different boxes. Each team has nine hours to prepare a live three-piece art of chocolate, sugar and ice, two cakes: one chocolate and one cold, and a dessert plate.
Julien Alvarez, currently a professor in the School Bellouet Conseil de Paris, Jordi Bordas comes from Santacreu Pastisseria Viladecans and Josep Maria Rodriguez works at Dolce Pastry Yann Duytsche in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
The English Club World Cup consists of pastry Tugues Rafel, Paco Torreblanca, Enric Rovira, Olivier Fernandez, Toni Viñas, Carles Duytsche Mampel and Yann who in turn has been the team president and English representative on the International Jury. Also part of the Club: Clémentine Alzial, commercial director of Valrhona, a company sponsoring the contest, and Alberto Ruiz, director of the professional journal Dulcypas.
