Thus was born EcoEuskadi 2020, an initiative led by the Basque Government to develop the first Sustainable Development Strategy.
I had the opportunity to participate in this forum with other members of the Shire Osakidetza Bilbao. Its aim is to reflect on aspects of economic prosperity, social equity and cohesion, and environmental protection with the time horizon of 2020. The results will help guide public policy in Euskadi in terms of sustainability, as it will help to establish the minimum conditions and requirements that any plan or action of the Basque Government will comply.
